Join The Elks!

Becoming a member of the Morganton Elks Lodge is an opportunity to connect with a community dedicated to service, fellowship, and compassion. Here's how you can join us:

 

Eligibility

Membership is open to United States citizens over the age of 21 who believe in God.

 

Application Process

 

• To begin, you’ll need a current Elks Lodge member to sponsor your application, along with two additional co-sponsors. Applicants must also reside within the jurisdiction of the Morganton Lodge.

• Your sponsor will provide a Membership Application for you to complete. Once finished, return it, along with the current application fee, to the Lodge Secretary.

 

Membership Review

 

• The Membership Committee will contact you for a brief interview and then present their findings to the Lodge.

• A vote on your application will take place during the next Lodge meeting
   

Orientation and Initiation

If your application is approved, you’ll attend an orientation session—spouses are welcome! During this session, you’ll learn about the Elks, our programs, and our charitable initiatives. You’ll also be informed of the date for your formal initiation into the Lodge.

Active Membership

Once initiated, you’ll enjoy full participation in Lodge meetings and social functions, joining a network of members passionate about making a difference.

Additional Information

If your application is not accepted, you may reapply after six months.
